Legal Notice – Candidate Data Processing

Rail Logistics Europe is committed to protecting the confidentiality and security of candidates' personal information. This section describes how we handle the data collected during the recruitment process.

Processing of Candidate Data

The data collected during the evaluation of your application is processed electronically by the human resources department of Rail Logistics Europe with the aim of managing the recruitment process of our future employees. This processing is based on articles L. 1221-6 to 9 and L. 2312-38 of the Labor Code.

Objectives of Data Processing

The human resources department processes data for the following purposes:

  • Managing the recruitment process;
  • Carrying out mandatory formalities and compiling the administrative files of selected candidates.

With your consent, the information you have provided may be used to enrich our CV database or for other job offers within our company.

Categories of Data Collected

We only collect the personal information necessary to assess your suitability for the job offered or your professional skills during the selection phase:

  • Degrees and qualifications;
  • Professional experiences;
  • Skills and professional abilities related to the position.

Failure to provide this information will make it impossible for you to participate in the recruitment process.

Data Retention Period
  • For successful candidates, data is integrated into their administrative file and kept for five years after the end of the employment relationship.
  • For unsuccessful candidates, data is kept for three months after the end of the recruitment process. With your consent, it can be kept for two years to be used for future employment opportunities.
Access to Data

Your file is treated confidentially. Only those involved in the recruitment have access to your data. In case of successful employment, certain information is transmitted to the organizations concerned by your employment.

Your Rights
